I had never seen Nikola like this it was weird but sad
"I think im going to just goto my room"Nikola said
She did so.
I sighed and walked into my room. I felt even more depressed now.

Mary-Kate and I decided to go say hi to Ashley. Was she ever surprised to see me.
"ZAC!" She screamed running over and hugging me. I laughed and hugged her back. From day one Ashley had been like a little sister to me, and I loved her heaps. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" She asked pulling back.
"Well, Ike, tay and I are here for a month working on our new album"
"That's great!" She said hugging me again.

"So, Mary-Kate was telling me about a boy named Josh" I teased her later that night.
"Josh" she said with distaste. "Please! I'm in a good mood right now. Don't even mention that name!" She turned to Mary-Kate "Would you believe he's in my drama class?"
"You're kidding" Mary-kate looked at me and grinned.
"It's not funny and yes he is. Wevenhavetoplayromeoandjuliet" she mumbled.
"What?"
"4 words. I'm Juliet. He's Romeo" She said burying her head in her hands.
That ended it. Mary-Kate and I burst out laughing.
"It's not funny!" Ashley insisted slugging me in the arm.

"What do you think of this one?" Mary-Kate asked extending her hand, on which she had many different colors of lipstick. She'd dragged me on a Saturday shopping trip, and I was standing there wondering how to get out of it.
"Blue?" Was all I said.
"yes! Blue"
I winced and shook my head.
"Ok then" she said putting it back in the sampler bowl "gimme your hand"
"Why?"
"I ran out of room on mine."
"I'm not letting you put lipstick on my hand!"
"You can wash it off after" She said grabbing my hand and putting a little purple lipstick on it.
I groaned. This is so embarassing!
"No way!" I said seeing the color. "Here what about this" I said grabbing a pale pink
I can't believe I'm giving color tips!
She rolled some on my hand and smiled "Perfect"
"Finally!" I said grabbing a tissue and wiping of the lipstick. "Can we go now?"
"After I buy it. Patience, Patience!"
"You're loving this aren't you?"
"Oh, yeah!"
I sighed and prepared for te next form of torture...

I was having so much fun! For a guy Zac was kind of fun to shop with. If it weren't for his attitude problem. But, oh well, no ones perfect! I paid for the lipstick and we left the store.
"I guess I should tell you" Zac begun "Next month when we've finished recording the album. Well,..."
I had the feeling I didn't want to hear this.
"We're going on a 6 month tour"
I sighed sadly the same old problem was back.

She looked so sad and I felt like a major jerk for breaking her heart like that. But, there really wasn't much I could do. Was there? We passed a jewelry store and I noticed the rings they had on display. We kept walking.
"Can we go in here?" Mary-Kate asked pointing to a clothes store. All the happiness had seeped out of her voice and she now sounded, just sad.
"Sure" I said with a smile Hoping to cheer her up "Just as long as you don't make me try on a dress"
She smiled back and it was a smile, even though a forced one.
Chapter 12:
--Mary-Kate--
"Mary-Kate I have some bad news" The school dean said grimly. That's what I'd been afraid of, bad news. Ever since I was told he wanted to see me, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat. I knew my grades were dropping. I guess, I just hoped it would be overlooked.
Yeah, Right
"Your grades are dropping alarmingly fast..." he informed. I tuned out after that.
What do I do?
A year earlier I'd been certain that fashion was what I wanted for my future now I had avsolutely no interest in it. So what do I do? Drop out of college? Oh, the press'll love that!
Great! Why is my life all of a sudden such a nightmare!

Why is my life such a nightmare?
I can't believe I'm rehearsing for Romeo and Juliet with Josh!
"Look like you're in love!" The teachers voice cut into my daydreams. I glanced down from the fake belcony I was on. In love? With him?
"But we're not!" Josh insisted.
"You want to be actors! Act it!" The teacher insisted.
I sighed and turned to Josh "Romeo, Romeo, whereforeart tho-"
"NO NO NO! You're doing it all wrong the teacher insisted.
Right about now I'm really regretting this drama class!

"Zac?...Zac!...ZAC!" Isaac yelled.
I snapped out of my daze. "What?"
Your cue was 30 seconds ago. I gulped "oops"
He sighed "start over"
So I'm not the worlds best drummer when I'm distracted is that a crime?
I really like Mary-Kate, make that REALLY, REALLY liked her. What the hey I'm in love with her. And fact of the matter is we'll probably break up again. I don't want that to happen. But long distance relationships, well they never work.
"ZAC! YOU MISSED IT AGAIN!" Isaac snapped.
"I'm sorry" I said "Can we just take a break?"
"Fine" he said leaving the room. He had been kind of short tempored lately. I guess with his and Kirsten's fast approaching wedding things were pretty stressing.
"So who's the girl and what's the problem?" Taylor asked walking over to me.
"Mary-Kate and music" I answered.
"You two back together?"
"Yeah, but I don't know how long"
"The tour huh?"
"yeah, Taylor what do I do?"
"I wish I know, But I don't. I'm sorry little bro" he said sincerely. "You'll think of something. And if you're meant to be together, it'll happen"
Chapter 13:

I thought the teacher said we had chemestry???Boy was she wrong. This play is so a distaster so me and ashley think at least we agree on that

Ughhh practice was so tiring today josh and i had to stay late and try to get everything together.We were getting better i guess
I walked into my dorm and laid out on my bed but then someone knocked on the door,i was too tired to get up so i decided to let nikola which she did not do she just stayed in her room sulking which she had been doing all the time
"Uuhhhh"i said getting up
I opened it to see the tearful marykate
"I need to talk"
"What's wrong?" I asked putting an arm around her shoulder.
"I'm failing. Zac's leaving for 6 months. And I'm so confused!" she sobbed.
I put an arm on her shoulder
"failing?"
"failing fashion. And I don't think I even wanna do it anymore"
"Oh, Mary-Kate"

Ashley and I talked for hours. During which I decided what I was going to do.
Never in my life have I had the experience of being broke, of fending for myself. So, there and then I decided to take the semester off from school till I decided what I wanted to do. I then planned to get an apartment and a job. And to fend for myself.
Ashley was kind of skeptical. But I, I was totally happy with the idea. In fact I was looking forward to it.
So next thing tomorrow I'm going job searching.
One problem solved. Now what about Zac?

"hello?" I asked picking up the phone.
"Ashley? It's Josh"
"Oh," I said sounding less then thrilled. But, then he didn't exactly sound like he wanted to talk to me.
"The drama teacher, what's his name again?, rang a few minutes ago.."
"Uh-oh!"
"they've pushed the deadline for the play ahead a week"
"What?!?!"
"And he recommends we rehearse in our own time"
"I don't have time for rehearsing"
"Me either. But it's that or fail the class"
"Great! Just Great" I said burying my head in my hands for a second. I sighed "Are you busy no?"
"No"
"Ok, I'll be there in a couple of minutes.

Oh, dear! Ashley's coming over to rehearse and we're near the end of the play which means... the *gulp* ... kiss!
Chapter 14:
I heard a knock on the door i figured it was ashley "ITS OPEN!"i yelled from the bathroom where i had been brushing my teeth (lol)
"Josh where are you?"ashley said in a grivated tone aperatly she was dreading this as much as me
"In here" I called quickly rinsing my mouth out. I took a calming breath and walked out to where she was.
"Hey" I said nervously. Dunno what I was so nervous about. Not like I hadn't kissed her before.
"Hey" she said quietly.
"So should we start?"
She nodded. "Scene 6?" she asked.
I nodded.

I was sitting in my room just starring at the wall when my phone rang
"hello?"i said
"Hey baby whats up?"the familiar voice of zaz said
"Hey i said nothing much just thinking"i told him
"Well ya wanna skating?"he asked me
"Yea that'd be fun"
He picked me up and we drove to the rink.
"What about people seeing you?" I asked as we walked in.
"I don't think we have to worry" he said with a smile.
I was in for a surprise. The entire rink was empty. He'd paid for a 2 person session. I grinned.
"Your so wonderful"i said leaning over to kiss him on the cheek
We got our ice skates on and got on the ice.
"Um, Zac?" I said as I wobbled on my skates "Have I mentioned I haven't been ice skating since I was like, 7?"
"Yeah, I believe you forgot that little fact" He said catching me as I went hurtling towards the ice. Unfortunately my weight cought him off balance and we both landed in a heap on the ice.
"Sorry" I said laughing.
Chapter 15:
"Its...Ok"he said "But can u move ur skate?"
I laughed "Sorry...Again"
He got up and I helped me up. I wobbled on my skates a bit.
"I t-think I'm gonna fall again" I said as I teetered.
"No you're not!" he insisted taking both my hands in his. "C'mon!"
He grabbed my hands and pulled me along i smiled at him
"'Whats so funny?"he asked
"Nothing"i said "Your just so cute"i leaned in to pinch his cheeks but unfortually it didnt work and i fell
"Ouch" I said.
"Don't pick on the Zac man" he said with a laugh "Or stuff like that'll happen"
I raised my eyebrow a him "The zac man?"
He laughed then helped me up
"Ok i cant take this wanna get some hot chocolete?"i asked him
"Sure"he said as he pulled me off the ice
We took our skate off and went to the refreshment stand.
---Zac---The guy who served us was roughly our age. I cought up looking at Mary-Kate but, she only had eyes for me.
"here you go" he said handing us our orders "One for you and one for the pretty lady" He winked at Mary-Kate but she hardly noticed.
I found the whole thing rather amusing.
"Thanks"she said
"Anytime"he replied in a very smooth like way
I laughed inside i remember when i used to be like that tring to smooth talk girls wink at them to just try and get a date but now i had marykate and there was no way i was letting her go again

Why on earth did I feel so nervous? At this rate we wouldn't even get to the kiss since I kept missing and ruining my lines.
--Josh--
Finally we got around to it i leaned in closer.........
I ever so gently kissed her. She didn't kiss me back of course, since she was dead in the play. But still.. it was a kiss.

I had to admit josh was a good kisser but i didnt like kissing him since we were enemies
I was kind of relieved when he pulled back.
"So are we done for the day?" I asked sitting up from the couch which had acted as my 'death bed'
"Yeah I think so" he said
"Great" I said and headed for the door
