After constantly recieving questions as to where Mary-Kate and Ashley got their clothes - which were adults clothes professionally tailored to fit the girls - it was decided by Manager Robert Thorne and fashion designer Judy Swartz that the girls would have their own clothing line. It all started back around the time of 'Two of a Kind' and since then the fashion line has warped into a lot, lot more.

'The mary-kateandashley brand fashion & lifestyle collection' now includes a vast array of products.. from cosmetics to camping chairs, bedding to discmans, backpacks to photo frames. And it's continually growing.

And now the brand is taking on the world! 2002 saw its release in Canada, the UK, and Australia. Next? France, New Zealand, South America and more!
