Charities

I don't know too much about what charities the girls are involved with, as they don't tend to seek press for their involvement.

I do know they recently attended the SCLERODERMA RESEARCH FOUNDATION benefit at Caroline's On Broadway comedy club in New York on 8 November (04), which was hosted by former FULL HOUSE TV presenter BOB SAGET. They bidded on a gift for their father which was the biggest donation of the evening ($58,000)

I also know they recently supported the Official Gillian Anderson Website auction to benefit Neurofibromatosis, Inc. Neurofibromatosis, pronounced Neuro-fi-bro-ma-toe-sis (NF for short), is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in the body at any time. This progressive disorder affects all ethnic races and both sexes equally. NF is one of the most common genetic disorders in the United States (believed to be one in every 2,500 births), even though not many people are familiar with it. There is no known cure at this time. The girls donated an autographed picture and an autographed script of When in Rome

In the past they have attended such charity events as or ran by Bogart Backstage, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation carnival, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, M&M Charity Fashion Show, and a Benefit Concert in LA

On June 22nd they attended Denzel Washington' braintastic event to benefit the Brain Trust at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where they met some young fans with cancer who wouldn't normally be able to meet them.

If you know of a charity the twins have been involved in that is not listed here, please E-mail Me!
